How Many Microneedling PRP Sessions
The number of micro-needling prp treatments required to achieve a beneficial result varies on your objective. One treatment will significantly help the natural look and feel of your skin. For larger skin imperfections 4-6 sessions may be required to see an improvement. Also, age and the severity of sun damage to your skin need to be considered. It is recommended to avoid aspirin and other anti-inflammatory medications like Advil, Ibuprofin, and others for 1 or 2 days following the procedure.
Avoid excessive sun exposure, including tanning booths, and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily of SPF 30 or higher.
When cleansing your fave, use a gentle cleaner and dilute it with 85 percent water. Then apply a gentle moisturizer.
Try to avoid hot baths and hot showers, which may irritate the face. You want to limit the amount of contact with the area so as to give the growth factors in the PRP the best greatest chance at creating the best effect.
Begin following your standard skin care regimen about 3-4 days after the procedure.
